Mohamad Elwishy

Mohamad Elwishy is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who graduated from the Philosophical Faculty of the Department of Psychology.

He studied postgraduate and earned a diploma in clinical psychology. He is currently completing his MA in Psychology at the Philosophical Faculty of Ain Shams University.

For 6 years he has been practicing psychotherapy with special care and interest in the treatment of personality disorders, sexual disorders and trauma. He prefers integrative psychotherapy with a greater interest in psychodynamic processes in the areas of psychotherapy, EMDR and cognitive, dialectical behavior.

He is currently working as a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who offers individual and group therapy.

He gave a series of lectures on psychotherapy at the 5th IAGP Regional Conference in Africa, the 4th International Conference in Egypt – in group psychotherapy and group processes, the first and second conference of the Egyptian Association for Sexual Medicine and Surgery, and in workshops in many facilities of the World Health Organization and Ain Shams University.

Mohamad is an active member in many scientific associations, e.g. The International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes (IAGP), the International Society for Sexual Medicine (ISSM), the Egyptian Association for Group Therapy and Processes (EAGT) and the Egyptian Psychological Association (EPA).
